Theatre Convivio’s next production of A Doll House, in conjunction with Women’s History Month, opens March 10th and runs through March 26th.
In a Doll House, we find Nora Helmer, living in an idyllic world, from society’s standpoint. With a doting husband with an advancing career, three beautiful children, and a comfortable home, her life seems to be every woman’s dream. But secrets from her past threaten to shatter her happy little world and force her to see some hard truths about the society in which she inhabits.
The show is directed by Brady Rubin and stars Christina ‘Saia’ Blakeslee as Nora Helmer and Richard Heller as Torvald Helmer, with an all-star cast of John Richardson, Lia Rose Dugal, Ann Haynes, Michael Hovermale, and Lala Jahn Peterson.
A Doll House opens in March, Women’s History Month, with 7:30 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday matinees at 1:30 pm and evening shows at 7:30 pm. Sunday evening shows at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12.50 general admission, $10 for seniors and students with ids, and $7.50 for group rate of ten or more persons. $5 preview night on Wednesday, March 9th.
